Bread:
600g wholemeal flour, 1 tsp yeast, and warm water makes a kilo of bread. Mix, knead, leave to prove in a warm spot 40 minutes. Another light kneading and 40 mins proving. Bake at 380F 30 minutes. Leave to cool.

Vacuum-sealing
: To store small items in a low-oxygen environment, use normal ziploc sandwich bags. Seal but for a small gap into which you insert a straw, and suck out the air. Works reasonably well for freezing food portions, like meat or tofu.
