About the conflict realm:

One's self-image is active against the world, which appears passive by comparison. Thoughts are driven by goals, rewards and punishments. Those in the conflict realm include high-achievers in business, government, and academia, who feel pride and a sense of positive satisfaction, yet an underlying anxiety nevertheless rules. Others in this realm include the jealous wannabees and critics, who suffer more dissatisfaction. Because of the two competitive states, few in this realm have enough perspective to transcend it. But to get out of the realm of conflict, the mind needs to value reason and truth, over worldly comforts and rewards.   kellyjones00 (593)
