Starting a university: You won't need lots of money.* Advanced education is all about thinking, and is stimulated by an excellent library, as well as presentations by students on their research.

* Technological research is funded by investment, but reasonable prototypes can be made on a small budget for investors. For instance, some investors may be successful graduates operating independently from the university.

General Tips:
— Only students who want to study should participate. Most students can support their own study by part-time work relevant to their degree. A university-zone currency can help with trade/service exchanges.
— There are no classes or assignments, except for what the students arrange in a self-directed way. Advanced students can help less advanced students, so no one stagnates.
— Graduation is based on periodic cross-examinations by advanced students and graduates, and examinees may challenge grading, but if the grounds of the challenge are shoddy, the student cannot graduate to the next stage. Plagiarism and lack of progress are also reasons for stagnation.
— The university is a place for thinking and understanding, not for meeting husbands or losing virginity.
— There is no quantity or time limit to a degree, but stagnation attracts fines or penalties.
— University administrators should be regularly cross-examined by ethics and philosophy advanced students, who may fire them.
— Students' part-time occupations should be rotated, exposing them to a variety of life experiences. E.g. butchering, farming, remote first aid, trawling, surgery, genetic engineering, food preparation, forestry, terminal condition euthanasia, and other "dirty" jobs.
— University libraries should be mostly virtual (internet-based), to avoid an "institution" or "ant-colony" atmosphere, while presentations and examinations should be personal to aid in learning by stimulating the different senses.   kellyjones00 (593)
